Correct names but neither Daring nor Intrepid were names of carriers so Phil is right there.

HMS Daring was on a Type 45, Daring Class (II), D Class, L Class (planned), Daring Class (I) and 2 earlier brigs and a sloop. All destroyers.

HMS Intrepid; Fearless Class landing ship, I Class destroyer, Apollo class cruiser and a variety of earlier ships.

Then of course the first even Ark Royal has been on non carriers.

But, despite the attitude, yes, correct.

Driving and tender wheels from King and Castle class locomotives turned the main scope... Also, some of the turning and tracking gear for the Lovell scope comes from two battleships!

It is a small pub situated up a flight of steps from the south side of Waverley Station. I have used it several times.
