DLR trains can also be found working in Germany. Where, and why is this?

On the Essen Stadtbahn, when the DLR was extended to Bank? the older vehicles apparently did not meet the required safety standards for use in the tunnelled sections and were subsequently replaced with a new build which met the requirements, the Essen system needed extra rolling stock at the time and the old DLR units were considered suitable and therefore purchased for use there.

I'll have a chuck at it...

I am a railway station. I was built in three stages, across two different centuries. My oldest part is still standing, but no longer sees any trains. The headquarters of a long defunct railway company stands alongside me. There is something absent from my platforms.

Which station am I?

To clarify, is this indeed a train? Formed of railway vehicles and running on the metals!?

Light engine, going into sidings.

Open floor if correct.

Rather annoyingly I thought Temple Meads for the last one but couldn't think of an old headquarters next to it - because I automatically think of Swindon for the GWR...!!
