I can only name three Walter Scott novels off the top of my head, one of which is the above named. But one of the others is The Heart of Midlothian, which I think was a named train at some point. (The third one I could name is The Bride of Lammermoor - and I'm pretty sure that wasn't also the name of a battle!

The Heart of Midlothian was a named train, deriving from a mosaic in an Edinburgh pavement, later adapted as a novel by Walter Scott, but Catherine Glover does not figure in that novel.
Think of another Walter Scott novel in which the character Catherine Glover does appear.
As an extra clue, the battle was the Battle of the North Inch.
