Was it intended as a carrier of building materials that were required in the town area when it was being expanded in the late Victorian period ?
I'll say the obvious and go for slate. I very much suspect that I am wrong and it is something more obscure, however. What product is connected to the original fairbourne railway?
No. They weren't the original owners.
This wouldn't have anything to do with some pannier tanks that went to scotland by any chance?

Sorry to be so long guys. I will open the floor as I cannot think of a question at this point in time.
Was that the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway by any chance?
