Railway community groups

Hi all,

I am local to the North West and use the railways all over the place for work and leisure travel.

I have seen posts online that talk about the existence of local community groups who meet to discuss issues/concerns or to hear about upcoming improvement in the area.

However, I have searched online for user groups specific to the three train companies I use most often:
1) Northern
2) MerseyRail
3) TPE

I couldnt find any groups that looked active relating to these and I couldnt seem to find a page on the train companies website that indicates where they hold events to meet the staff and hear about their plans etc.

Is anyone able to signpost me to anything for these three?

http://www.wirraltua.org.uk/ for Wirral transport users. User groups do NOT tend to be TOC specific but relate to specific geographical areas.

Many of the more active user groups are affiliated to Railfuture - there are listings available on their website https://www.railfuture.org.uk/Rail+User+Groups

Railfuture also hold regional meetings, which provide liaison opportunities.

Individuals as well as groups can get involved.
