I did some looking around for any college/uni courses that are railway-focused, but the closest I found was the Institute of Railway Studies in York. Does anyone know of anywhere that offers actual classes on the railway (be it their history, modern day etc.)?

I was interested in the IRO scheme but it is very expensive (through Glasgow uni)

I don't think any University courses are specifically rail focused. There are now a number of places offering Transport Management courses.
