Railway catering trolley

Does anyone know where I might go to get a railway catering trolley?
I've looked at websites who sell them new, and they could supply me with one as a one off, but they can't give me an indication on price. Does anyone know how much they cost to buy new, roughly? Are we talking hundreds, thousands?

You could contact heritage railways in your local area to see if they have any going, or any which have recently closed and are looking to make some money back

If you do find an authentic railway catering trolley, you may have a long wait for it to arrive, you may be disapointed by it when it does arrive, and you may have to pay in cash with any change only available in small coins.


Seriously though, there are a range of non-railway catering trolleys available, in used conditions, from the regular auctions of catering and other equipment following the liquidation of restaurant businesses - there's a very high turnover of business in the catering industry and most cities will have such trade auctions on a fairly regular basis.
