Can anyone suggest some good quality railway blogs? I am really interested in journey/travelogue type blogs to do with railways, particularly UK ones as I am thinking about developing one of my own as my trip report form my ALR has really caught my interest and I would like to look at some styles and content to see if my ideas hold any water.

I have no real idea how i would set my own up but thought some background research would be a good place to start. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

If you're going to write a Blog then at the very least you need to be confident that you know what you're talking about. It would also be useful if you had something interesting to say.

Not specifically a railway blog, but a blog with a decent amount of railway and other travel content is http://www.simonvarwell.co.uk/blog/, the author of which is also the author of The Next Stop

Thanks - i am after a copy of that book! Let us see what Father Christmas brings......

I like Aslef Shurgged It's a blog my a central line tube driver, interesting to see the workings of a busy tube line.
