I think a travellator would need to be installed on the platform first. People in Coach A wouldn't be too happy if they needed to walk past EIGHTEEN coaches to get to their seat!

People booked in coach A of the Scotrail sleeper already have to walk past 15 coaches, plus the loco which brought in the empty stock, so thats only another two coach lengths

Guess The French Station, Guess The Korean Station, Guess The Italian Station, Guess The Swiss Station....

I might as well just make these threads now!

Guess the brick / paving slab / TVM / bench / CIS monitor etc.

Sorry, forgot we already have that in the 'Guess the station' thread

With this in mind, I set about envisaging RailUK in 2012, not long after it has been announced that a rogue asteroid may hit or narrowly avoid Earth in a weeks time...

That's the best so far I think. I loved the locked XC HST thread

I did chuckle at "Well, at least the Pacers are going down with us...", but from the way people speak of them (never even seen one myself), they sound like they're immortal and plan to take over.

It looks like we made need an evacuation plan after all! If you've heard the radio advert for Crevendale, where they're talking about cats forming gangs and taking over (slightly ludicrous I know) then Pacers could just go off the rails and do the same thing!

Pacer 2050: Pimp my pacer

Refurbishment number 2863 methinks. Recaro bucket seat in the drivers cab, aircon pods on the roof and a nuclear power cell in the bog. The tilting mechanism (Pacerlino) was abandoned after they lost six of them at Huyton :(
