anyway, did a couple more...
first one is at Sheffield, showing the places you can travel too on all points of the compass
second one is at Nottingham (yes, I know, boring Nottz, but take a look - I like it!)

There we go. A 150.

It doesn't matter who was right 15640 whatever but lets not start an argument about it

Your banners are the wrong size and shape. The second one isn't a very good picture.

I like the idea of the first one though. The text probably needs to be a little more exciting though.

I like that one (banner 4; with the departure boards). I don't know why...

Just quickly made this basic one using Paint.NET. It should be the same dimensions as 156401's banners.

Any thoughts?

That's a good idea.

I suggested a while ago making the winners of POTW into banners.

Maybe have a POTM (all the weeks winners in that month), and then have a new banner for each month?

Here's a couple from me, I can make more if you like. I wish I had something with a little more quality than MS Paint though!

The aspect ratio is a bit off making the train look squashed, but otherwise I like it.

You don't have to make the banners. If you have some pictures that could be used then they can just be submitted and the right font & size can be selected. Also I'm trying to get larger (1600px) wide ones as they can be used in the majority of resolutions without looking overly silly.
