hi,
just a thought - would it be possible for people to do their own banners for the top of RUK pages, as I think the choices for 800x600 resolution are not fantastic. If we could, could someone give specific dimensions, etc.
thanks

I am currently working on a few images that people have sent me for new theme images.

For 800x600, 780px wide & less than 200px tall.

I am also after some which are a minimum of 1600px wide for the flexible themes. Please PM me with some links or I can provide an EMail address. Of course credit will be given in the footer.

Thanks!

I agree. I like the standard HST theme, but I'm not a fan of the other banner images.

Why not have a browse through my Fotopic pages and see if there's anything you like. I've still got all (most) of the original pics at their full resolution (3072 x 2304 pixels) and can e-mail any you fancy.

1. I prefer PNGs to most file types, however a GIF or JPG are probably better for the web. Although, I'm assuming that as you saved it as a BMP, you don't have any decent image editing software, so GIFs and JPGs would probably quite heavily compressed.
2. I just don't really like the picture much.

I'm with Gizmogle on this one. Were you using Paint as I don't know any software that would save BMPs natively.
