Railtour through Manchester today around 16:15

I was travelling south from Piccadilly today around 16:15 and a railtour passed heading north, seemed to have a mix of InterCity and maroon coaches. Any ideas what this was?

Sounds like the Southampton to Glasgow boat train.

The only two tours down for today are a DBS 67 Llandudno Jn-Aviemore (via WBQ though), or 2 WCRC 47s on the much-debated (on here!) Statesman Peterborough-Mallaig. or of course the Soton boat train :D
