Aargh, my pet hate in big letters on page 3 - loosing!
Lose is the opposite of win
Loose is the opposite of tight!

Railtalk Magazine Issue 12 is out now, and can be download from here.

http://www.railtalk.eu/magazine/issue12.pdf

Just me, or is this a clone of Railway Herald?
Some of the images are very poor quality (RailTalk logo)
Also, not so much talk as photos!
The context of the content tends to be inconsitent too; heritage, modern, heritage, railtour, franchise, heritage, modern

Overall, worth a read, but I wouldn't subscribe to it at its current development stage

always a problem with file size i'm afraid. we would love clearer pics but the file size is about 30mb. and if we are a clone of railway herald then todays railways imitates other mags. it is free after all.

All the news is pretty much the same across all the media, it is just about how it is presented
If you take all the (printed and online) magazines and websites, over a two month period, most cover the same stories and in some cases even the wording is identical

The photos in railtalk magazine are good quality, but they don't flow across the issue, thus making it quite difficult to make sense of what exactly they relate to

If image and file size are such a concern, then create two versions
One "simplified" version and one "full content" version
Visitors will then know not to expect high quality images in the "simplified" version

I always managed to keep my file sizes down with top notch picture quality in 'The Depot' although then lost the idea of a PDF as it was practically a massive .JPG!
