railstations in newcastle (please help)

im going to travel from Newcastle Airport to Leeds but i wonder whats the difference between Newcastle central (NCZ) and Newcastle (NCL) and which one is the easiest to get to from the airport? could relly needs some fast answer on this one..?

They are essentially the same place. NCZ is the Tyne and Wear metro station which I believe is directly below NCL which is the main railway station. I would assume that NCZ would be easiest to get to as it has a link via the metro. Then transfer upstairs to NCL for the train onto Leeds.

We have a few locals around here that will be able to confirm what I say for sure :)

NCL is the National rail platforms, NCZ is the code for the TW metro system. Note that the two only have limited ticket integration and it's wise to have some UK£ coinage as TW Metro ticket machines don't take notes as yet.
