Does anyone know of a resource with up to date information on what railfreight there is in Spain?
When I go looking on the internet I mostly just come up with articles behind paywalls in railway journals.
What I have been able to find is that it's something of a minority pursuit, and - at least as far as RENFE is concerned - seems to declining, though there seems to be significant rail infrastructure at ports.
It looks as if (to my surprise) there are freight trains that run across the border with France by having their wheelsets changed, but also interest now in gauge changing technology.
But that's about as far as I've got.
I imagine there's information I'm missing in Spanish that I could get auto-translated but I'm not finding the right search terms.
Any ideas?
