I see there's an option for a physical pass or a digital pass...

Is it possible to have both a physical and digital copy...

If your mam travels with you she can take advantage of the Disabled discount anyway - just a thought

I’m not sure what you mean by ‘worked so far’ but a photo of a physical railcard is not acceptable to validate railcard discounted tickets. You must present either the physical railcard or display the railcard in an app from the retailer you bought it from.

You can’t have both, it’s either a physical railcard or a digital one. The reason is to prevent someone passing one of the railcards onto someone else to use.

Absolutely. I do keep a photo of my railcard and season ticket but that's just a convenient way to keep a note of the relevent railcard/ticket number in the event I need to quote them.

When ticket managers swipe your e-ticket, they'll often ask for your Railcard which they also electronically swipe to check validity, so a physical or digital copy of the card is needed.
