Just had a promotional email for Railcards, and it's a bit "creative" in accuracy.

Save 1/3 on train travel with a Railcard – it pays for itself in just 2 trips and keeps saving you money all year.
Well, I know for sure that it has potential to pay for itself in just two trips, but I think the word "Could" is missing from the advert, as many users will take more than two trips to save cost.

Clicking on the picture of Edinburgh, promoted.as "Save £21.05 Edinburgh to London £62.90 £41.85" takes me to the website for the Network Railcard - so unless the rules are changing, wouldn't be valid for the journey.

If the industry is going to be vigorous in enforcement of the correct use of Railcards, surely it should take care to advertise their value and benefits accurately?

Those advanced discount c2c tickets spring to mind as being very much under £35 with a railcard.
