I have a £34 rail voucher to use. The journey I am wanting to go on this weekend will cost me £32. I realise I won't get change but will it still be ok to use the £34 voucher for this journey? Thanks

Yes that will be fine. As you say you won't get £2 change.

You may be able to get a PlusBus included for 'free' with the remaining £2 depending on where you're going, if not then it's not a big deal.

You certainly can 'overpay' with a £34 voucher for a £32 ticket, no problem.

You can get change with a voucher issued by GTR and you spend it at a GTR ticket office.

Some TOCs allow you to exchange RTVs for cash or send it back for a cheque. Which TOC issued your voucher and which ticket office do you plan spending it at?

Perhaps you could buy a second ticket at the same time for a future journey?
