Rail strike in Belgium

No trains in Belgium from 2200 tonight until 2200 tomorrow night.

Eurostar will not run between Lille and Brussels.

The strike may continue into Friday and beyond.

From National Rail Enquiries (my bold):

There is a Belgian public sector strike from 22:00 on Wednesday 21 December until 22:00 on Thursday 22 December.

Because of this, there will be no trains between Lille and Brussels on Thursday 22 December. A limited bus service will run between Lille and Brussels, however demand is likely to be extremely high for them and Eurostar expect congestion at the stations as a result.

Well that sounds fun for those involved even if the journey time is only an hour...

Having had the pleasure (!) of driving into Brussels on a semi-regular basis a few years I think the replacement bus will probably take around 2-2.5 hours, considering the extra road traffic as result of the rail strike - as you say, not nice!
