Hi all!

Thought I’d share a exciting new website and mobile app that allows you to keep track of stations you’ve visited across National Rail, Irish Rail and Ni Translink stations, with supertram stops coming in a week.

You can view all the stations online at: https://railstatistics.co.uk/

Where can view all the stations/stops in a list or on a map. But the advantage of Rail Statistics is you can view data from national rail about station facilities and usage data of passenger entries and exits and the top/bottom 50 destinations from a station.

In-addition, there’s a quick export button so you can export a graph as a image to use in videos and blogs.

But if you feel like keeping track of stations you’ve been to, including your favourites you can download the app and view the same information that’s on the website, on the go!

Plus you get notifications about when new stations open, and they appear automatically in-app and on the website as soon as the station receives its first service.

Plus there’s a neat home-screen widget so you can keep track of your progress.

You can download it via going to the website or searching Rail Statisitcs in the Apple app store or Google play.

I have uninstalled because I got this warning on my screen when clicked Maps

Then when I pressed "cancel" - I was shown a gps tracker app it wanted me to install

Not good for this to happen.

Apologies, this is a known ad issue with the ad provider I’m using which is going to temporarily be removed until this stops happening.

in a further update, if you look in the first picture. There’s a button in the top left to skip the ad if that helps.

No the X does not work.

The ad freezes up my phone completely

I suggest you remove the app from the play store and Apple store immediately -/until you sort this major problem.

It won’t be removed as I’ve got quite a large number of users who have used the app for at least 6 months with no issues. However the ads issue will be rectified but this can also be down to a lint on the Android device as it’s trying to loads quite a few stations.

I can only apologies once again and will let you know when there’s a update to fix it

Let me guess, yet another AI coded app?

It is vibe coded, but there was a lot and I mean a lot of manual work in collecting data, building backend systems and many months of building a custom app design which a lot of ai coded apps would not do.
