In connection with this weekend’s engineering work on the Severn Beach Line, helpful signs have been erected (presumably at all stations) giving the location of RRB stops. This is one of the two on the Bristol bound platform at Lawrence Hill. [Photograph shows standard GWR rail replacement poster with map of bus stop locations - but for St Andrews Road station] Honestly! The other one ,incidentally, helpfully gives the location of stops at Shirehampton. You couldn’t make it up!

Generally up here Northern describe where the RRB bus stops are for every station on the same poster that goes at all the stations.
There used to be rail replacement stops markers but lots of them have either been removed or have fallen and been taken by the wind

So, some GWR operative has affixed a poster which should have been put up at Stapleton Road, at Lawrence Hill station (next station along the Severn Beach line). They probably thought the posters were all the same! Be inclined to give GWR a shout about this on 03457 000 125 so they can resolve the issue, a.s.a.p.

No - the ones at Lawrence Hill are supposed to be at Shirehampton and St Andrews Road - both several miles away. If I weren’t in a no mobile phone work environment effectively from now I would.

So noted. Confused me, and likely could well confuse others!
