Are any of you aware of this website that opened on the 9th September. I don't know if this is correct for everyone wishing to become a train driver, but they are quoting the following:


What if I've previously failed the psychometric testing process?


That's no longer a problem. The train driver psychometric testing arrangements are changing in line with European standards. This means that the slate is wiped clean. If you've previously failed the existing testing arrangements, you are now able to undertake the new testing arrangements a further twice. These new arrangements come into force in September but, if you register with us now, we'll start the process immediately.

Don't even go there! Wannabe pilots went down that road and look at the state of that industry! Pay to fly basically, or rich mummy and daddy buying you a career! How aslef have not put a stop to this is beyond me. Look at the pay pilots get now?! Nowhere near what they should, this takes off drivers salary and conditions will only go the same way. But they know fine well that desperate people will pay daft amounts of money to get in the seat! Shocking .
