Rail Operations Apprenticeships

Hi I am 15 (16 in July) doing my GCSE'S recently I applied for the LU Operational Apprenticeship and got through to the testing stage. However, at the test stage I was very nervous and had issues in my personal life at the time. After a week I received and e-mail from TFL to say I had been unsuccessful at getting through to the next stage. I was quite upset and disappointed as I had done work experience many times previous to applying and had 2 very good references in my application from LU Staff. However, I wanted to know whether there are any other schemes like this one (i.e station assistant apprenticeships). I have been offered a (BTEC LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IT - equivalent to 3 A Levels) at college but would much rather do an apprenticeship. Any help or advice welcomed.

I know First Great Western have some sort of operations apprenticeship scheme on the go, not au fait with the entry requirements but I'm sure an internet search will throw up some info.

I've also seen Southeastern take on operational apprentices in the past 2 years.
