Yes - well, I suppose because it'd provide a place for news to be posted if someone is looking for something, rather than having to trawl through different sections.

Ah, I remember the days of rail news - I used to be part of the team who ran that section! Seems like a pretty gd idea.

I'd like to see the very out-of-date "news" at the start of this site replaced by an RSS feed... I've got a simple one on the foot of my landing page on my website - my lack of programming skill hinders me from making it better.

Think the likelyhood is that if we get this up and running again then it would be posted to the main website with an RSS system leeching it and posting it on the forum.

Would it be OK if it was posted from a central resource on railuk.org rather than news.bbc etc?
