Isn't a season ticket a loyalty card? You get unrestricted travel for a set period at a much reduced rate compared to daily tickets.

And of course, inthe old Netwrok area it is also a Gold Card, offering extra benefits!

Seasons also offer 'loyalty' side benefits, like free tickets or upgrades. I found it v useful to be able to travel 1st class at weekends when I had a TPE season.
