rail card

We noticed on the web that having a rial card entitles us for discounts on rail travel - we have 4 journeys to make in the UK over a period of 10 days, all in Oct, and we were wondering where to purchase a rail card? It is not clear to us as we are tourists from singapore.:oops:

You should be able to but one at any station which has a ticket office/travel centre. Depending what railcards you require, you may need a passport-type photograph with you application form.

Which railcard is it. Most come with strings attached. ie You have to be over 60 or under 26 or are travelling with children. How many of you are travelling ?

I would say that a britrail pass might be the best option for you. They come in various types one of which is 4 days use in one month. One good thing about it is that there is no restriction on when you can travel. Tickets bought over eher will come in a variety of different prices and most will have restrictions on the time you can travel.
