Hi all, just a note to say that RBS is running a handful of charters later this year. It will be a mix of Rail Blue and Grey MkIIIs and MkIIs, so at least it will look half decent! Go to www.rail-bluecharters.co.uk for more details.

Cheers

Mark

The 9th August's Circular charter will also use 55022 to haul the train. There will be a carriage set aside for first class only (minus lunch) for passengers for £59.

Hi all. The Class 50 Alliance has kindly confirmed that they will be providing 50044 and 50049 for our Manchester Piccadilly - Minehead charter on October 18th. Pick ups at Stockport, Wilmslow, Crewe and Shrewsbury. All details on www.rail-bluecharters.co.uk in the tours section.

I should add the caveat that this is of course subject to availability on the day.

Regards

Mark

Hopefully I will be there 8)

In addition, 'Deltic' locomotive 55022 has been booked to haul the train. It's Rail-Blue livery will complement the MkIII blue and grey coaches perfectly. Not only that, we can't recall a Class 55 hauling MkIII carriages before - no doubt someone will put us right!
