Hi All,

Please can you advise the best ticket for this journey?

I'd be travelling on a week day, same day return and I wouldn't have a railcard. Woud a return to Romford and a travel card to zone 3 be any good?

Just hazarding guesses here...I have no clue really!!

Many thanks

N

Do you have times - cost and options vary depending on whether you can travel at off peak times and whether you are tied to set times (could you make use of advance tickets)? Do you have/want an oyster card?

You may be best buying a return from Norwich to Stratford (or even two Advance singles) and then a Zone 1-4 Travelcard, which off-peak is £7.30. This Travelcard would be 70p cheaper than two Underground singles. (It may be different with an Oyster card if you have one). Romford is in zone 6 by the way, and as you may know, few if any trains from Norwich actually stop at Romford.

Off Peak Day Return Colchester to Zone U3* Londn is £25.20

This is valid to Stratford and for the subsequent tube journey to Leyton. It is not a Travelcard.
