Racism reaches computers

It's a huge mistake by HP but they don't seem all that worried, personally I think this eventually should have been seen and stopped before the cameras left.

To be honest that is not racist in my opinion just a fault that does not recognise some colours in this case a skin tone.

Another completely over the top reaction to a software fault, wonder how long it took them to get the lighting at the right level, all I would say it needed was a small light shining on the persons face, or changes to the light metering.

Dare I point out that all of the first five generations of iPod were only available in white? Personally, I don't think it's just HP who are being "racist" in this manner!

Yet funnily enough, the exact same teacher didn't even seem to bat an eyelid or otherwise take note when I mentioned I was racially offended by the term "whiteboard"... :roll:

Hang on, I'd always been corrected (By Rushmoor BC's equality advisor) that the "right" version was:

"Baa Baa Racial minority, past and current gender, sexual orientation, disability, mental state and ethnicity irrelevant sheep, have you any wool?"​

...Although I'm not 100% sure if I can trust the information of an advisor from a Conservative-dominated borough council...

Just out of sheer curiosity though, I'd like to pose a question to any board members who may be from such an ethnic background: Would any of ye actually feel offended by someone referring to a classroom slate as a "Blackboard"?

From past discussions that I've had on this topic with a number of friends (From African, Indian, Pakistani and Persian backgrounds) I honestly believe the answer is a resounding "Nay"...And conclusively proves that modern society's ideas on "achieving racial equality" have gone WAYYYYY over the top! hock::roll:
