Quickest cross London transfers

Last Friday I got onto the concourse at Waterloo just 17 minutes after the Eurostar I was on came to a halt at St Pancras. My route was via the Piccadilly to Leicester Square then the Northern. Someone I know at Eurostar has done it in 14 minutes via the Victoria Line and Bakerloo Line, using the Oxford Circus cross platform connection.

A number of years ago on a Network Day I had an unbelievably good connection from Liverpool Street to Waterloo via the Central Line to Bank and then the City Line and managed to pull out of Waterloo on the main line a mere 12 minutes after stepping off an inbound at Liverpool Street.

Can anyone beat these timings?

Euston to Charing Cross, 9 minutes train arrival to train departure.

Pretty good; was that via the passageways at CX Underground or did you use the shorter <strike>walk</strike> run from Embankment and the side entrance to CX?

Up the side from Embankment of course! Straight up the street (forget what its called now..!) as I think using the extension off Hungerford Bridge always gets a little too congested.

Villiers Street, although the connection from the Northern line platforms to Charing Cross mainline is pretty straight forward too. It's the Bakerloo where it's a bit of a walk.
