Quick query: Thameslink Luton Airport bus

Hello all. Quick query about the shuttle bus operated by/for Thameslink between Luton Airport Parkway and the airport terminal.

Can this bus make intermediate stops at the bus stops along Airport Way? I'm arriving the night before an early flight and hoped the bus would be able to drop me off by my hotel.

Used it a few times - can't recall it stopping anywhere

If it's bus 888, Google Maps indicates that it also stops by the Holiday Inn Express.

Thanks both. On Twitter, Thameslink says it's non-stop, but I suspect it may just be a case of asking the driver politely.

I've used it on a couple of occasions between the Parkway Stn and the Holiday Inn with no problem

I've used it a couple of times from the station to the hotels and been on it several other times when it dropped off there.

The hotels are about half a mile from the airport along a fairly level route so it's probably better to walk that rather than hoping for a bus in the early morning, unless you have masses of luggage.

Timetable on Traveline shows route 888 (Thameslink shuttle bus) calling at Airport Way, stop at Express Holiday Inn, between Parkway Station and Airport, if that's any use.

If you're travelling from the north, may be cheaper to change at Luton Station (not Luton Airport Parkway) and get 'busway' bus A from interchange outside station - this seems to serve the same stop on Airport Way.

Bus A is standard pay on bus sort of thing - don't think you can book through with a rail ticket other than on 'plus bus' which probably isn't worth it for a single journey.

Google maps shows bus stops and the routes calling at them - Google (as far as I'm aware) gets its data for such things from Traveline.

Thanks all for input, arrived at LTN tonight. Bus does indeed stop outside the Holiday Inn Express, it's a £1.10 single fare. Be prepared to reassure confused passengers that no, this is an intermediate stop, and not the airport
