Just a quick question.

If I were to construct a route in Rail Simulator, would I be able to run said route on Railworks as well?

Yes, provided it uses the same assets that you used in Railworks. Im working on a route that I started on Railsimulator nearly6 months ago, and it ported across to Railworks just fine. Just follow the guide on UKTS for porting routes, and you should be ok.
