question for google chrome techno guys

when i am on facebook, a notification appears as normal, i click the notification expecting it to take me to the new comment/content etc but the addy in the URL bar changes and i have to click the ad bar and press enter to get to the new content destination. likewise, if i then want to go to any other page on the facebook domain i have t do the same thing, click it then hit enter.... is there a fix for this as i am struggling to find one.

Never had this problem myself but I recommend making sure your all up to date in Chrome, if that doesn't solve then it then you should delete all your temporary files, cookies and cache etc to clear the system, CCleaner is good for this or just use Chrome but please note it will delete all your sessions so you will have to log in to each website again.

It sounds to me like something you've installed has a proxy set up. I'd recommend using HiJackThis.
