Question: Correct Signals ?

Hello all, first post here.

I'm working on a station (n gauge) and I'm intending on installing one of Dapol's GWR semaphore signals into the red circles provided in the photo. I was wondering what would be the correct type of signal to place at each respective location ? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated !

Without being able to see much of what is going on off to the right, and assuming you don't need something like a shunt signal or something to control a nearby junction:

Platform 1: GWR lower quadrant starter home.

Plat 2/3: Either two Lower Quadrant home starters, or two on a bracket like one of these, but LQ (these are SR/BR upper quadrants at Bognor: (from https://www.southcoastview.co.uk/wp...emaphore-signals-at-bognor-regis-1536x799.jpg)

The signals need to be positioned close to or on the platform so that any train or engine held at the signal is far enough away from the points that it does not foul any adjacent line where another train may be moving past. This is clear in the excellent photo in the previous post.

You will also need a signal for the terminus platform. If there is another Stop Signal further to the right this could be a shunt signal, but this would not allow a passenger train to leave from the terminus platform. If you want passenger trains to leave from the terminus platform, it must be a full running signal, as in the photo. In the latter case you don’t need a signal further out to the right, but there normally would be one.

It could be a long bracket structure or more likely a gantry with an extra leg stretching over the two tracks with a separate arm for each above them. Alternatively, a separate straight post signal might be placed to the right of the terminal track or it might go on the left between the tracks instead, if there's space for that.

Thanks for the recommendation. Unfortunately, there isn't space for that, but I'm sure I'll be able to figure something out. Cheers.
