Can anyone tell me why some of Queensland rails emus don't have displays and why said ends of units are always coupled in the middle??

A small number of sets, around sets 60 to 70 were built with a driving cab only at one and, but the front end molding was built as standard, I believe the cab can still be used by the guards. Originally they an as six car non divisible sets, now they can be mixed with a normal three car set.

My interest in railways is announcements, I frequently visit Adelaide, as their system, and PRIDE in Melbourne, are my favourites. The button's themselves have changed many times since the old system went in 2006.

The old stock is great. On a still night you can hear the EMU's speeding up and slowing down from miles away.

Yea I live in west end /south bank and can hear them quite late at night most days.. unfortunately not atm due to Easter blockades... Was this related to those English Royals that have ruined Brisbane recently

Well, the Royals are in for a surprise this week when they visit Elizabeth

As for the EMU's, I once took the Cooroy service that was run by an EMU back in the 1990's. Between Eumundi and Cooroy it screamed its head off.

Lots of anti g20 and anti monarchy graffiti in Brisbane atm. Back to trains I note a few 1** trains seem to have repainted front ends.

A lot of trains in service covered in Graffiti at the moment seems Qr are having cleaning issues

Hmm.. etching has got worse since I first came to Brisbane 3 months ago.. also really starting to appreciate how awesome the tri axle Volvos and Scanias are with Bt makes me wonder if we could get some in the uk

Any idea which train has the tic tac livery I saw it at South Bank at 4:04 assume off a gold coast or Cleveland service
