Early trains very full...standing passengers on 9.35 ex Ebbw Vale service from Crosskeys at least! What a pity someone could not have authorised a 153 or 150 in addition to the normal 2 car On first full day of normal services - not a good start in public relations.

Especially when a Class 150 was being used on the Cardiff Bay shuttle!

Where would you get the extra Unit from ? The fact a 150 on Bay is irrelevant to this issue as you can't split one into two coaches.

Philipe, am I right in saying if a 150 has ended up on the Bay either something is going on down there, or the usual 153 has failed?

Either no 153 available for reasons such as poor availability, in the wrong place. You cannot identify a particular 153.
