Public transport tickets in Malaga

I am planning a trip to Malaga in the autumn. I am trying to find out if there is the equivalent of a London Travelcard in Malaga that is valid on all buses, metro trains and cercanias trains- on a daily, weekly or longer basis. Also if there is such a ticket, are there any concessions for people "of a certain age"? Separately I am also trying to find a joint map of the Cercanias and Metro systems. I can find individual maps but not a composite one.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

There is a PAYG "TravelCard" issued by the Malaga Metropolitan Transport Consortium, but you use it to buy discounted tickets rather then just swipe in/out so it may not be useful unless you are making a lot of trips.

This is the link for ticketing - seems to be fairly standard in Iberia to have an Oyster-type system "Tarjeta Monedero Consorcio de Transportes" and the pictograms imply validity on Cercanias.

When I visited Malaga in 2015 it seemed to be a case of either single/10 trip tickets on Cercanias and an Oyster type system on the tram.

Both were relatively affordable but there wasn't much of a cap to speak of.

Spain is very sparse with such ticketing forms and AFAIK they only really exist around Madrid and Barcelona and to a far lesser degree Valencia. Basque county used to have it and kind of still has, but this is mostly only stored value with PAYG and even former transfer/interchange discounts have been withdrawn.
Major reason seems to be that local councils will not subsidize in whatever form the local=cercanias RENFE trains nor any regional bus which they consider to be responsibilty of local other councils. Even swipe chipcards are fairly new as most of such tickets were magnetic stripe.
have a stack of coins ready! many machines will also not accept bills=notes.

Thanks, everyone, for your valuable help. I think the "Transport Consortium Travel Card", mentioned by 30907 and P. Binnersley seems like the most convenient option - though I am struggling to establish whether that option not just valid on the Bus and Metro networks but is also valid on the Cercanias and to a lesser extent on the ASEA buses (routes prefixed with "M") within the Malaga city boundary. I think the best way forward is going to be "try it and see if it works when I am there. Thanks again everyone.

I visited Alicante a couple of years back, and there was ONE office in the centre that sold the smartcards - they could be topped up in a wide variety of locations, but for this you needed the card from the transport office. Valencia was very civilised - they had a transport office at the airport who explained the whole system to us and sold us the correct cards to top up - and you could do so at any tube station.

As I recall though, the cards were not valid on either of their Cercanias train networks.
