Harbour Lights - South Shields
Feathers Inn - Hedley-on-the-Hill, Northumberland
Ship Inn - Low Newton-by-the-Sea, Northumberland.

Peterborough has the Brewery Tap and the Drapers Arms, both less then 10 minutes from the railway station.

Just locate the bus station and they're conveniently situated at either ends of the bus station which helps visitors.

The Tyneside and Northumberland branch of CAMRA produce this leaflet for the Tyne Valley Line (or Hadrian's Wall Country Line according to Northern) which has some very good pubs in it here.

Been recently updated, before that it still had details of Northern Spirit in it.
