Pub gardens facing railway lines

The Victoria at Beeston has a garden with direct access to the down platform.
It also does good beers and food.

Codsall station pub. The beer garden is right next to the platform. A fantastic little pub.

The only one in the East Midlands which immediately springs to mind is The Manor House at Quorn which is adjacent to the preserved Great Central Railway.
The Green Man and The Rising Sun in Willington don't have beer gardens but both have tables on their forecourts providing a view of the railway.
Moving towards the West Midlands there's The Plough at Huddlesford which is right next to the WCML but has limited visibility because of sound-absorbing fencing along that stretch.
There's also The Swan at Whitacre Heath but all you'll see there is a limited amount of freight plus the occasional XC service being 'looped'.

Outside the East Midlands, but Stalybridge Station Buffet has a small beer garden looking out across the West end of the station.
The Sidings at Shipton - North of York - had a garden right alongside the East Coast Main Line'. Although it's predominantly a hotel and Greek restaurant, drinkers are welcome. However don't expect any real ales!
The Shoulder of Mutton in Mytholmroyd has a nice beer garden overlooked by the viaduct on the Calder Valley line.
A couple of miles further on, the excellent Fox & Goose in Hebden Bridge has a wonderful terraced hillside beer garden looking across the narrow valley to the same line.....although visibility is somewhat restricted during the leafy season. (Full disclosure: My wife and I are cooperative shareholders!).
There's a lovely crooked old black-and-white timber-framed pub with a garden on the West side of the Marches Line just North of Leominster station. Sorry....can't remember its name!
The Beer Engine at Newton St Cyres, near Exeter, probably needs no introduction to many forum members. Fine pub with good food, own-brewed ales, great atmosphere and a lovely garden growing down to the railway....plus about 50% more passing trains since the Okehampton line reopened.

The 'Victoria Tap' at Manchester Victoria (highly recommended) has a 'beer garden' with plastic grass (!) at the back facing onto the Metrolink tracks.
If you are on holiday in Cornwall there is the Fisherman's Arms at Golant, where you can view clay trains on the Fowey branch.
In Devon there was the Marine Tavern at Dawlish which had a first floor 'viewing platform' but it looks as if it has closed.

The Number 2 pub in Cleethorpes station has a small outdoor area which is on the station concourse with a view of the platforms.
Out of area but The Palace in Leeds has outdoor tables that give a view of the viaduct approaching the east end of Leeds station.

The Cutter Inn, about 5 minutes walk from Ely Station. Terrace at the back for outdoor drinking and train viewing. Link to their website here.
Usually about 4 real ales available.
In terms of preserved lines, I recommend The Corn Mill, across the river from Llangollen station. Link to their website here. You can enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of steam.
Again, 4 or 5 real ales is the norm.

The Junction Inn at St. Deny's, Southampton, backs right onto the South West Main Line between St. Deny's station and Northam Traincare Depot. When I was a kid, you used to be able to go right up to the pub's wall and lean over to watch the trains whizz by. I don't think you can do that anymore, though. I also vaguely remember a very decrepit train carriage in the pub's garden, tucked away in the corner amongst the weeds and trees.
