Look for a company call morrson's they are baced in woking but cover london. As to where you will do you training i cant help as there are alot of places you can go. Tell them what you would like to eg brickie..the will then point you in the right place. Once you have your card..you can then feel free to look for over jobs..gumtree is good for pts brickies. Also you want to be work on civils (not to be confused with ground workers on a building site).. there you will be able to work station refurbs and a like. If you want to do brickie work stay away from trackman jobs as all you will be doing is wet beds stick changes and rerails and l2's...
Hope i helped if you want to know more just ask i dont bite. Plus there are other companys but morrsons are more newbie friendly..

Hi abiola01,
First thing todo if you havent done so already is to check out railwaypeople.com, lots of sponsors on there.
I havent been up north for a bit so i am a bit rusty with the companys, i think there is one called MPI, i think they are up north. Also search for PTS jobs on google and see what comes up in your area. Even if it is slighty out, give them a ring find out if they will sponsor you.
If your in any dout about a company or training, drop me a line and we will have a chat.

Cheers

Hi ukcinc, I am Radders46 I have just recently been made redundant and I'm looking at getting into rail maintenance. I currently reside on the south coast, portsmouth area. I'm wondering on whether you could give me any advice on track induction and sponsorship.
If you could help,I would greatly appreciate the your advice and opinion.

Hi radders46,
Sorry to hear that. Look at a company called PBL pitch black training, they are baced in fratton. They run PTS corses most weeks. They do sponsor people just for training. As your from pompy try a company called
Mcgainley's.
Hope this helps feel free to pm if you need any other help.
