Hi all,

I’m a long time reader of this forum, and a first time poster!

I’ve got a quick question that I’ve been unable to find the answer to thus far….

I recently completed a Conductor assessment day which required me to complete psychometric assessments conducted by OPC. I successfully passed these.

I’m just wondering if I was to apply for a driver role in the future, would the parts relevant to the driver assessment day that I completed be taken into account? i.e the Group Bourdon and the MMI. If I’ve hit the required standard of course.

Thanks in advance!

As I understand it, if you've completed those components, you wouldn't need to resit them providing you reached the required standard.

Worth noting though that there is an expiry date on your passes so you might have to resit them if they have lapsed by the time you apply for a driving role.

If you’ve sat the tests and hit the mark required then it’s likely you won’t need to do them again when applying for driver, passes are valid for 5 years. I’m lead to believe some FOC/TOCs do not allow previous passes and some have lower expiry times, so may only accept valid passes from the last 36 months for example.
