Psychometric testing question

A while back I did pyschometric testing for London Midland

The tests were a Concentration test, Aptitude Test as well as a Ticket Selling & Checking test.

My question is, in regards to Concentration/Aptitude test, how similar would these be to the tests a driver would have to take, and how much difference would there be in the pass requirements?

The concentration test for the Guards job uses the SCAAT test while the Driver uses the Group Boredom test. There is a big difference between the two tests, you can download the practice tool to see the difference. The Boredom test itself is certainly not any harder than the SCAAT, however the pass requirements are higher, you arent allowed many mistakes.
Apart from the Concentration test the rest of the tests are completely different, instead of the ticket tests you get the Mechanical test (not always - depends on TOC), glop test, dials test, reactions test and structured interview.

I did the same assessment for London Midland conductors and we had the Group Bourdon test. I found it ok on paper but have since tried it on the computer and fount it a lot more difficult. I passed it though and am just waiting for my references and CBR check to be completed, before a start date in Feb.
