I have done a Google search and managed to find a few photos and a track diagram of this box.

What I need it the actual dimensions of the signal box or drawings as I'd like to scratch build this.

As I say I have Googled but to no avail.

Anyone know if these are available anywhere online?

This was the box that spanned the line descending to Whitby? If so, it was probably built by one of the several contractors used by the NER to supply their signal boxes. Neither of my books covering that part of the world have close-up pictures or any detail about the builder. It appears to be roughly square in plan and would have had to span the line to Whitby - so possibly 15ft in width? Large-scale mapping of the area may help you.

Yep that's the right SB.

I had thought it to be a bit on the square side. Somewhere in my loft (God knows where!!!) I have the books by J Robin Lidster. about the railways and some other railway books of the area.

Also Interested in Whitby Town station signal box
