Overrunning engineering works (electrification?) at Eccles, now apparently cleared.
But there is severe disruption between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton, again from overrunning engineering works near Wolverhampton.
Anyone know what these were?
Cambrian trains diverting to Crewe all day Tuesday, bus Telford-Wolverhampton, train shuttle Shrewsbury-Telford.

The Eccles one apparently was a 'broken down' road/rail vehicle. All services were cancelled between Newton-le-Willows and Manchester with service resuming around 0800.
