Looking at this for a single ticket from Preston to Edinburgh on September after 11:00, it worked fine without a railcard but when a rail card was added it couldn't find a journey with the specified criteria. Why?
By the way, thanks to everybody who responded to my question about missing a train due to cancellation or lateness of a connecting train.

Was it a 16-17 Saver? Not valid in Scotland :(
Is that definitely the case for a through ticket with an origin in England? Thought the 16-17 Saver wasn't valid if travelling on Scotrail/Caledonian Sleeper services. Should be ok from Preston to Edinburgh with Avanti/TPE.

Yeah, this is the case and it seems to handle it fine. Even a network railcard returned journeys/fares (full price ones obviously). I think we probably need the railcard and the date (or at least the day of the week), plus any other settings, to repro it
