Submitted online delay repay claim to LM on 13/04/17 and issued with case reference number a few days later containing date 170414 as part of it. Not heard anything back/nor has anything gone into my bank account and checked their site. They are now dealing with claims received 25 April. Is this most likely an oversight. I have sent them a tweet but it is most unusual.

I have just realised although my online LM account is in my name and I filled in my name on the form, they have addressed the automated reply to my friend. Basically, a friend of mine who used my email address about 3 years ago. He submitted his claim but used my email address. He was going travelling abroad backpacking so wanted me to just check everything came back ok in case of need for follow up. As it happened all was fine.

Update: my Twitter exchange with LM:

@LondonMidland
You're one of the many who were/are being paid automatically. The compensation should appear on your account within the next wk

@gray1404
Thanks, was there a bit of a problem then because I've not received an email confirming the result of my delay repay claim either you see?

@LondonMidland
We have had a number of claims come in over a short period of time, so it's been done this way for speed.

Not entirely sure what they have done differently but will wait and see what goes into the bank next week. I wonder if they will simply make BACs/card payments without emailing back the customer to confirm approval of their claim.....

Q 1). Do LM operate "turbostars"?

Q 2). And if so, what is the "Borders'" liveried one doing in the midshires of the southern kingdom? Off reiving again?....

I'm not sure if this is a joke but 170414 was a date rather than a unit number.

But anyway, yes, LM do operate Class 170 Turbostars - 23 of them. But not this one.
