Hi,

I recently purchased and installed the Armstrong Powerhouse Class 90/Mk3 DVT Rolling Stock Pack but I've been experiencing some issues.

When I try to use Quick Drive with the supplied consist "First ScotRail Class 90 and 16 Sleeper Mk3s" after a minute or two of attempted loading the game returns to the quick drive menu screen with the error message "Could not load - An error occurred trying to load the Quick Drive scenario".

The First ScotRail Class 90 appears okay by itself in a custom consist but when I try to add any of the Caledonian Sleeper Mk3s to the consist in the custom consist builder they do not load. I am new to the game but perhaps that's where the problem lies?

I have installed the additional requirements West Coast Main Line North, Mk3s extra stock, extra stock and the realistic branding patch.

I have tried routes WCML North and GEML London to Ipswich which result in the same error message.

I have tried using "clear cache" from the settings, tools menu and have verified the integrity of the game cache which have not resolved the problem.

I would be really grateful for any help in resolving this problem.

Kind regards.

Hi all I am having a similar problem with the class 90's, for certain scenarios it is saying that it cannot find certain files i.e. Intercity Mk2e coaches and class 86 but when I look in the assets file I can see them, also I am having problems with the virgin new livery coaches, the class 90 and Dvt loads ok but its the coaches I am having bother with.

I have downloaded quite a few scenarios for the WCML and sadly they fail to load, when it does load it has a list of files it cannot load, sometimes when it has done that before on other routes, and you have at least your train to drive you can get round it by going into edit and click on the arrow in the bottom right hand corner it will let you play the task, but on the WCML scenarios, there are no coaches at all.

I have ensured that I have downloaded WCML north route like it asks and I can see the files under Keith Moss but they just wont seem to play.

Any ideas and suggestions gratefully received

Cheers

First thing I'd suggest you try is clearing the blueprint cache via the options menu, if you add something to an asset folder it won't show in game until you delete the blueprint file for that particular folder.

Failing that, look on the AP website and redownload the livery packs, though be sure that you run the installer as administrator as not doing this can sometimes foul things up when you install stuff.

If none of the above works then create a new scenario, tick the relevant boxes in the developer selection window (the developer selection window can be accessed by clicking on the two blue squares in the corner of the rolling stock selection window on the left.) and see if you can place the locos/coaches that are giving you the problem.

I've had the same problem as you before so I hope it helps, if it doesn't or I haven't made sense (which is pretty likely...) post here again. :D

Hey there, still no joy with the coaches, when you say delete the blueprints, is that when you go into settings at the start of the game and then click on clear cache??, if so then yes I have done that too

Yea, that's the one.

When you tried playing the scenarios with the invisible coaches could you see floating couplers? It sounds daft but to me it appears that for some reason the installer hasn't activated the right asset folders for the coaches to appear, and usually this means only the assets that are in the Kuju folder such as the inter-coach couplings will appear.
