Problem South of Rugby (15/05)

On the Avanti 0736 out of Glasgow Central to London Euston and are held at Rugby due to power issues and a stuck train further south. Anyone got any further info? The TM said a diversion might be available - any idea what route?

Via Northampton I would assume as the problem appears to be in the Stowe Hill tunnel area.

The Northampton loop might be dull but the even less interesting diversion south from Rugby is via a coach and the M1. Best avoided.
