Recently, I have referred to "http://www.railforums.co.uk/showthread.php?t=13429" for the installation of BVE4 in Win7.

After studing the thread, I put dx7vb.dll, dx8vb.dll and d3drm.dll in C:\windows\system32, then entering the following in the command window:
cd C:\windows\syswow64
regsvr32 dx7vb.dll
regsvr32 dx8vb.dll

The above step was carried out successfully. Then, I downloaded bve.exe.manifest through "tp://www.railforums.co.uk/attachment.php?attachmentid=340&d=1183136134", then putting the file in C:\Program Files (x86)\mackoy\BVE4.

However, after doing all these steps, BVE4 still cannot operate normally and the situation can be reflected by the attached photo in this thread. The BVE4 window became white after processing teh csv file of the route.

Could anyone help me solve the problem? Please note that I use the 64-bit version of Win7. Thanks a lot.

I'm not sure if its a Win7 specific problem, but on Win XP and earlier, a white screen was a sign of graphics issues.

If that's the case, it's unlikely you'd be able to sort it and the best solution is to switch to openBVE.
