The discussion on the thread about the future of VTEC's fleet has made me wonder: what coaching stock has been made PRM compliant and can go past 2020. I think at least VTEC's Mk4s, and Chiltern's Mk3s are good to go. CrossCountry, GWR and ScotRail HSTs are being made compliant. Anything else? What's the status with Anglia's Mk3s?

AGA Mk3s have had the following refresh over the last few years:

  • Plug points
  • New LED lighting
  • New carpets
  • New tables
  • New seat covers
  • Upgraded environmentally-friendly controlled emission toilets, including new floors and new taps
  • Re-painting of the carriage interior saloon and vestibule panels, walls and ceilings
  • Exterior painting of all carriages

So nothing to make them 2020 compliant.
